The Fourdrinier is the traditional forming section for all paper grades: from lightweight writing and printing grades, to heavy multi-ply board.
Our Fourdrinier’s wet ends are used for the production of single-ply paper from 38 to 180 gsm, at a speed up to 1100 mpm. The trimmed width that can be manufactured is above 8 meters.
Our modern version of this forming section features state-of-the-art drainage elements, with ceramic blades and optimum turbulence activity, to guarantee the best sheet formation and structure.
The cantilevered design and the whole stainless-steel construction of the framing allow uninterrupted operation, easy maintenance and quick wire changes, for the maximum operating efficiency.
