OVERMADE receives a repeated order for a Dynaflo FL headbox from Pratt Industries for their VP 15 at PRATT PAPER mill in Shreveport (USA). This second order comes after the extremely positive results achieved in one year operation with the first headbox delivered only in 2017.
The headbox has been selected for the excellent distribution of the fiber it has shown to grant, contributing to reach the highest market standards of CD basis weight profile and paper properties.

OVERMADE has signed a contract for the supply of key components for a writing and printing paper machine for LIPY PAPER in Bangladesh. The scope of the supply includes wet end with a DINAFLOW FL hydraulic headbox complete with the DINALUTION system, a size press and a double soft calander.

OVERMADE has completed the delivery of a wet end rebuilding for a testliner machine. After the modification the machine will produce testliner and white top liner on two layers with a pond width of 6200 mm and an output of 800 tpd.

OVERMADE has completed the delivery of a DYNAFLO FL hydraulic headbox for PRATT PAPER (USA). With a pond width of 6200 mm and an operation output of approx. 750 tpd., the headbox is intended for the bottom layer of a machine producing up to 1200 tpd of high quality testliner and fluting at a speed of 1100 mpm.

At the end of June 2016 and ahead of project schedule, the rebuild of PM2 at SCA Lucca 1 was completed. The rebuild, entirely awarded to OVERMADE, featured interventions in the twin wire forming area, the replacement of the whole framing of presses and Yankee, while keeping hood and Yankee dia. 3600 mm in place.

Following the reorganization of its internal processes and their integration with those previously in place at Over Meccanica, OVERMADE invested in a project of a fully new automated management information system in order to raise its responsiveness to customers in terms of timeliness and integration.

At the end of March 2016 OVERMADE completed the rebuild of the press section at Manufacturas Sonoco, Santa Clara, Mexico. The press section is a 4 nips press section installed in a high resistant heavy board machine capable to produce from 300 up to 500 gsm at 360 mpm speed.

At the end of November 2015 OVER Meccanica SpA - in temporary operation since September 2014 after entering bankruptcy proceedings - was finally acquired by OVERMADE Srl, a new company of Italian investors headed by ex OVER managers.
